BloodRayne: Betrayal Featured For Microsoft Xbox’s Shocktober

Oh, Rayne. What a strangely-spotty history you’ve had on the silver screen (and TV screens, courtesy of direct-to-video fare). But let’s put that behind us. You’re still the sexy half- vampire broad with a great set of crazy silver arm-blade things. You’re still the baddest chick on the block, delivering all kinds of fleet-footed blood-soaked mayhem upon all those nasty little creatures of the night.
You’re still the sexy half- vampire broad with a great set of crazy silver arm-blade things.
Alright, enough pining over my half-vampire love interest. Bloodrayne: Betrayal is now part of Microsoft’s Shocktober promotion, which features plenty of delightfully spooky frights for every level of gamer, from casual to hardcore and every creepy fiend in between. Avatar accessories, atmospheric themes (I’ve got my eye on the graveyard one, personally), terrifying games (both indie and big-name, including our vampish vixen, Rayne’s latest adventure) with a healthy dose of classic horror, are all currently available right from your Xbox Marketplace dashboard.

Bloodrayne: Betrayal finds Rayne in shockingly new territory (2D!), however; she’s still slaughtering fiends left and right in a beautiful HD hack and slash adventure now available for 1,200 Microsoft points, which translates to around fifteen bucks. Well worth it, considering the game has garnered solid reviews. What better way to usher in Halloween on Monday than with a bag of your favorite candy (mine is Almond Joy, don’t judge me), the lights down low, and the beautiful Rayne completely annihilating all who stand in her way?
