Freckled Friday: Bryce Dallas Howard

Nearly every Friday here we spotlight a uniquely pigmented gal — a nice looking freckled dame to cheer up your Friday and get you through this last part of your week before you get on with that cigar, scotch, or bottle of your favorite brew.

Bryce Dallas Howard

Bryce Dallas HowardSome gals are what we call “chameleons.” Madonna was one. They’re the women whose iconic status is as malleable as their hair style or hair color. They keep changing… and we keep liking… and they continue to mesmerize us in different states. You might recognize Ms. Howard from her role in Spiderman — as a blonde! She was also in the 2009 Terminator Salvation as well as The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (which your girlfriend watched and you boycotted so you didn’t have to turn in your man card, right? Right?) She’s starred in several other mainstream films as well. We’re impressed.

Bryce Dallas and her father Ron Howard

This freckled gal owes part of her genes to legendary director Ron Howard. Remember Opie from The Andy Griffith show? Yeah… she’s his loin fruit all grown up and hotted out. Why the middle name of Dallas? That’s where she was conceived. Turns out her parents have named all of their children with middle names for the cities in which they were conceived. Hot? Weird? You can’t say it’s none of our business, because it’s all up on Wikipedia, bitch!

A lot of the gals we profile for this column are often seen with freckled covered up by makeup. We say the more the merrier… especially you, Ms. Howard. Keep rocking it. You’re an icon.

One Response to Freckled Friday: Bryce Dallas Howard

  1. I’m still convinced that she was the only thing worth watching in Clint Eastwood’s Hereafter. Her characters relationship with Matt Damon was the best one in the film, but sadly it was cut short and never furthered upon.
