A lot of shows have stand up comedians in their cast list, but only one has three of the best stand up comedians currently working. The League is a show about fantasy football, but more importantly, it’s one of the funniest shows on television. In this special installment of Laugh Track, we take a look at three of the many comedians that fill out the show’s ranks.

Nick Kroll

You’ve never heard his name, but you’ve probably seen his face or seen his work before. In addition to being a writer for Chappelle’s Show and The Human Giant, he has appeared numerous times on Children’s Hospital, Reno 911! and Best Week Ever. Kroll has also had great success as a stand up comedian. He appeared twice on John Oliver’s New York Stand Up Show. One of those times was as his flamboyant character, Fabrice Fabrice. A flamboyant crafts services worker, Fabrice is one of Kroll’s two characters that he uses regularly in his act. The other is Bobby Bottleservice, a Jersey Shore-esque meathead, who has appeared in numerous videos on Funny or Die.

John Lojoie

He’s a comedian/rapper who gained fame via the Internet. Before you judge him, give his stand up a chance, he’s quite funny. Lojoie has released two comedy rap albums over the last two years and appeared on Comedy Central Presents in 2010. On top of that, he’s made a string of music videos for his albums, some of which have topped 20 million views on YouTube.

Paul Scheer

Before starring in The League, Paul Scheer wasn’t a stand up comedian. But when the stars of The League went out on a stand up comedy tour,  he was so thrilled by his co-stars work that he decided he wanted to start performing stand up as well. But before he started doing stand up, Paul Scheer was one of the creators of and an integral part of The Human Giant. In 1998 he joined the well-known Uptight Citizen’s Brigade and still performs at the Los Angels theater on a regular basis. Since joining The League, he has also created his own show on Adult Swim called NTSF:SD::SVU::, which is a parody of the various police procedurals that networks use to fill their schedules. In 2010 he starred in Piranha 3D alongside Adam Scott and a ton of CGI fish.

To top it all off, he has his own successful podcast, How Did This Get Made?
