The Daily Harvest: Cookie Dough Stuffed Egg Rolls Offer Gastronomic Fortune
Sometimes we come across stuff that blows our pants off. And sometimes we find stuff that makes our ears bleed. And sometimes we even come across stuff that makes our eyes “water.” Every day, we farm the internet, find stuff we think worthy of your peek, harvest the shit out of it, and place it here for your enjoyment.
Chocolate chip egg rolls. You know you want them. They’re friend, gooey and sweet and you can make them at home. Yes, even you!
Here’s the recipe:
1 package Nestle Toll house refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough, or homemade
1 package egg roll wrappers
Place four pretzel sticks and approximately 1 Tablespoon of cookie dough (roll it into a rough log shape) near the upper center of the egg roll wrapper. Leave about 1 inch on each side between the cookie dough. Fold the edges of the egg roll wrapper over the cookie dough/pretzel and the roll up. Seal the edge with a little water.
Pan fry in about 1/2 inch of canola oil, drain and garnish with ice cream caramel or chocolate sauce.

I just turned down those Neapolitan Triple Double Oreos that I saw in the supermarket. This is just straight up bad news.
I won’t pretend that I wouldn’t want to take a bite out of one if it was sitting there piping hot right in front of me, but I think for the amount of effort involved (dealing with hot oil ETC) I’d just stick with strawberry shortcake or something instead. My tolerance for super rich foods seems to be decreasing as I get older anyway, and I rarely even feel particularly hungry anymore. I had fun looking at the photos and marveling over the audacious indulgence of the concept though, so thank you very much for sharing! : )
Those look so damn good… I think I have an idea of what I’ll be cooking next weekend! Thanks for this.
